HyperImage continues as Yenda.

HyperImage is preserved as a legacy open-source research environment and is no longer under active development. Its research model, established workflows and existing project data continue in Yenda, the modern browser-native and backwards-compatible successor. Yenda is currently in beta; its public release is planned for the end of 2026.

Fully backwards compatible: existing HyperImage projects and data remain usable and can be transferred.

This manual documents the historical HyperImage 3 software and is retained for existing research projects, reproducibility and technical reference. HyperImage 3 is no longer under active development.

Statements concerning Java WebStart, Java versions, supported browsers and operating systems, server software or security requirements describe the historical software environment and should not be read as current deployment recommendations.
